ASSERT, Inc. has been serving the Medical Education Community for more than 20 years under the direction of Kathryn M. Lane, EdD.

Consulting and leadership in  academic medical education 
Dr. Kathryn Lane has served with numerous national health organizations in health policy and clinical education. Her graduate education focused on health care delivery, physician education, and adult development. She is currently Vice President for Academic Affairs at Maimonedes Medical Center. Her entire career has been focused on clinical education: leadership and the promotion of learning. 

She is a Board Member of the National Residency Match Program, the Alliance of Independent Academic Medical Centers (AIAMC), the AAMC Group on Resident Affairs, and the American Hospital Association (AHA). She also served on the National Faculty of the American College of Surgeons, and was Associate Vice President at State University of New York (SUNY), before assuming her role at Maimonedes Medical Center.
